O-Piloth (NAI) in Belmont since 2004

O-Piloth’s sire Epilot, won the Bundeschampionat, ridden by Franke Sloothaak. Later in his career, Epilot was ridden by Jos Lansink and Peter Geerink. Epilots son No Time, ridden by Peter Geerink, won the World Breeding Championships in Lanaken 2001 and 2002. P-Pilot, ridden by Wout Jan van der Schans, is another very successful progeny by Epilot. Epilot’s sire Pilot, dam sire Burggraaf and Le Mexico have proven them self as world class producers of showjumpers.

O-Piloth was ridden by Olympic, World and European Champion Jeroen Dubbeldam and retired to stud due to injury. At the age of 5 years old, O-Piloth came second at the “Zwolle International Stallion Show 2001” in the “International Future Stallion” Competition.

O-Piloth has proven himself as a sire by producing the winner of the qualifier of the Cavan loosejumping finals  as well as having sired the winner and second placed horse in same finals.

Solero B, 6 year old by O-Piloth out of Tabaluga, ridden by Damien Dixon wins the Youngsters Final at the Summer Classics in Switzerland.

O-Piloth’s progeny are of a modern blood type, very careful and scopey jumpers, good movers – attributes that make O-Piloth a producer of top class showjumpers and eventers.

Progeny can be seen in Belmont House Stud, first crop born in 2005.

O-Piloth is registered by the Anglo European Studbook and Horse Sport Ireland (NA1).
