Abalou-Verte (available by frozen semen for 2011 season)

KWPN 169cm 2005

Abalou-Verte is a son of the Paul Schockemöhle owned Stallion Balou du Rouet Z. Already a successful competition horse at 1.50 m level, Balou du Rouet is now busy building a reputation as an outstanding breeding stallion. Although his oldest offspring were only eight years old, they have already chalked up more than EUR 128’000 in competition winnings. Matched only by Cornet Obolenski, Balou du Rouet was the stallion with the most offspring competing at the Bundeschampionat. As a descendant of Baloubet du Rouet – gold medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and an incredible three-times successive World Cup Champion – he has one of the most successful jumping stallions on the international scene in his pedigree.

Balou du Rouet’s maternal grandsire Continue’s progeny collected lifetime earnings of over EUR 310,000 and his dam line has produced several approved stallions.

Abalou-Verte’s dam Nataja Verte is by Ramiro Z, sire of many approved sons as well as Ratina Z.

Abalou’s grand dam Almeria Verte is by Alme Z. Abalou’s dam line has produced successful showjumpers like Dragee Verte ridden by Philippe Rozier and the international showjumping Stallion Souviens Toi III Equus ridden by Jean-Marc Nicolas.

Abalou-Verte, winner of the 3 year old loose jumping final during the Cavan International Show 2008. Abalou Verte’s Sister, Wyconereto Verte was responsible for the highest priced lot at the Z-Auction in Lanaken 2008. Leon Melchior of Studfarm Zangersheide forked out € 41000.- for the Levisto Z colt.

Abalou Verte is jumping successfully in Switzerland in 2011 and is only available by frozen semen.

Abalou’s jumping talent, top class pedigree; combined with three great elastic gaits and a fascinating charisma make Abalou-Verte an exciting choice for the breeders of sports horses.
