Since 1987 the family of Gerhard and Hedi Etter owned and operated Belmont House Stud, a farm situated in the centre of Ireland. Belmont House Stud is the birthplace of many performance bred youngsters of the Etter Sportpferde AG. Since 1992, Andrea Etter has managed and developed Etter Sports Horses Ireland Ltd. which works closely with the Swiss Branch. Etter Sportpferde AG supplies broodmares and stallions to Ireland, and in return, Etter Sports Horses Ireland Ltd. sends their Irish progeny, ready for competition to Switzerland.
Belmont Philosophy
Etter Sports Horses Ireland Ltd. operates a performance-oriented breeding program.
